The poor dog was lucky to survive when porcupine feathers pierced his heart and lungs in his body
According to The Huffington Post, the Canadian dog Mahalo was seriously injured after being attacked by an aggressive hedgehog. Mahalo and two other dogs ran out into the garden to play. The three encountered a hedgehog. Curiosity and aggression cost all three dogs dearly. Mahalo was most seriously injured when he was pierced with porcupine feathers, covering his face, heart and lungs. Doctors performed surgery soon after to save Mahalo. Mike Gerrand, a friend of the dog’s owner, Mahalo, has opened an online donation page to help his friend pay for Mahalo’s hospital bills.
